Hello all! We have gotten a large request for the detox cabbage soup recipe, so here it is Enjoy 🙂 Cabbage helps to detoxify the colon and stomach, serves as a blood cleanser, provides antioxidants and is also a great source of fiber.
Cabbage Soup Recipe
Detox Cabbage Soup
Prep: 15 min, Cook: 25 min.
• 2 tsp. olive oil
• 3/4 head cabbage, chopped, or 1 bag prepared coleslaw mix
• 3/4 onion and/or garlic, finely chopped
• 1-1/4 celery stalks, finely chopped
• 1-1/4 tsp. parsley flakes
• 2 cups chicken stock (low sodium)
• Creole seasoning (optional)
• 1 can of Cream of celery and chicken soup
HAVE 2 BOWLS LUNCH AND DINNER
Heat oil in a heavy stockpot over medium high heat.
Sauté next 6 ingredients 8-10 minutes, or until softened.
Stir in stock.
Reduce heat to low and simmer 15-20 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
